Danielle Conrad has been named marketing coordinator for The Papé Group Inc. She is responsible for implementing, executing and managing all marketing initiatives for three of The Papé Group businesses – Papé Material Handling, Bobcat West and Ditchwitch Northwest. Conrad will work in Papé’s corporate office in Eugene.
Marcia MacDonald, a local jeweler and art educator, is the new store manager at Passionflower Design, responsible for day-to-day operations. She previously worked as a board member for the Society of North American Goldsmiths and at Opus 5 Gallery.

The Willamette Chapter of Credit Unions has elected its board officers for 2005-2006. Minnesota-based Maurices Inc. has opened a new store at Gateway Mall in Springfield. Maurices sells clothing for young men and women, from everyday casual to special occasions.
Stepping Stone Mortgage is a new full-service mortgage brokerage opened by Paul VanderPlaat and Michael Herborn at 272 W. 11th Ave., Eugene.
VanderPlaat has been a mortgage broker for 10 years and has 20 years of experience in the lending industry. Herborn has more than 18 years’ experience in real estate, title and escrow, investment properties and lending.

Tactics Boardshop has moved to a new, larger location in the McCracken Building at Fourth Avenue and Lawrence Street in Eugene.
At 4,000 square feet, the store is more than twice the size of its previous location, and is backed up by a 9,0000-square-foot warehouse in the same location.
The business, owned by Matt Patton and Bob Chandler, sells snowboarding, surfing and skateboarding gear and apparel, plus footwear and eyewear. It also tunes snowboards.
